An unlucky day!!!

   It was early in the morning.The sun was shining and the birds ware singing. I decided to go on a tour of the city. I was in a great mood!

 

   While I was browsing around I saw a stand with handmade jewellery. I was enrupted by all this beautiful jewellery that I left my bag down to try a pair of earrings. They were fantastic and I decided to buy them. When I put my hand into my bag to find my purse, I couldn't find it. I was on a panic and immediately I called the police.

 

   The police officers couldn't find my purse. Some minutes later I realised that I had forgotten it at home! It was a strange experience that I'll never forget!

As soon as I walked through the door, I realized that something was wrong. It was Monday night and I wanted to sleep so I went to my bed. But something stopped me. I got scared and I went quickly to my bed. Then I covered myself with a pillow. For a minute I thought that it was my mother but it wasn’t. Suddenly, the door opened and the shadow of an alien appeared on the wall but it was not. It was my little sister, Lucy, who wore a band with two horns and tried to scare me.

The next night, I went through again the door and sit quickly on my bed to see what would happen. After that, the shadow appeared again on the wall. I called my sister if it was her but no-one replied. I was so nervous that my heart was beating so quickly that I couldn’t breathe. I stood up and walked to the door. It was a little green head with two horns. I couldn’t see many things but saw his head. When the whole of it appeared I felt so frightened. It was an alien with a spaceship. I asked him who he was but it was impossible to communicate with him. So I tried to talk with gestures.

During our discussion he said that he was from Mars and came to take me for a special trip. But I told him that it would be nice to do it but I couldn’t because here I have my family and that I couldn’t imagine my life without them. He told me that it would be just for a few days and then I would be back. Suddenly, I heard my mother talking. I wondered how my mother could be here and do nothing. My mother was trying to wake me up, it was morning. I couldn’t believe it was just a dream … or was it real? I’ll never know.

The man of honour 



It was midnight on a hot summer night. Mr Johnson came to his house from his friend's party. He got inside his house and slept. Suddenly, he heard a strange sound coming from his living room. Mr. Johnson ignored this sound and continued to sleep.

 

The second time, the sound was getting louder and he felt afraid. He woke up, took an umbrella and walked to his living room. He saw an ugly man who was holding an axe which has bland. Mr Johnson started screaming and he was terrified, he ran to the bathroom and locked the door. The ugly man was hitting the door with the axe.

 

After that, the man shouted very loud: "Please help me!''. His neighbour heard his voice and took a bat, went to the house and hit the ugly man.       The mystery of the old theater.

   Late last Friday night. Peter was watching TV when the phone rang. It was his cousin Kevin and he asked Peter to meet him at the old theater. Before Peter had time to say anything, Kevin said: Don't ask me why, just get here quickly. It's urgent!

  Peter grabbed his jacket and ran to the old theater. Someone had left the door open so Peter walked in. It was dark in the theater and while Peter was trying to find his cousin, he tripped and cut his hand. Suddenly, a bright light appeared on the stage. Peter approached and saw Kevin standing there, dressed in black. There where some other people too, but he couldn't make out who they where.

  Kevin knelt down and spoke to Peter in a deep voice. He said: Come with us. Then, the lights went out and Peter felt a cold wind blowing  through the theater. He could hear Kevin's voice fading away, telling him to follow them. The next thing he knew, he was back home in front of the TV again.

  Peter thought he had been dreaming. He looked at his hand and it wasn't cut but  his jacket had blood on it. Peter wasn't sure what had really happened.

MANLY MISTAKES

N.Y. City.  1987. James Johnson was a miserable person. Every poor man he found on the street, he wouldn`t help him. Many times he would see gangs beating up another person, and he wouldn`t call the police. At his work, he wouldn`t  collaborate with his co-workers. He always worked alone. At the canteen he would always sit alone. Sometimes, he was invited to parties. He wouldn’t go. And everybody called him “Miserable James”. He even missed his brother`s wedding. But he also hurt his girlfriend and she left. In his rage he beat up a person and he went to jail. When he returned home he lay in bed and fell asleep. In his dream, he met a black person in white clothes who told him that, he will send him back in time to correct his mistakes. James was very sad about what he did, so he agreed. He went back in time and fixed everything. He even did more good things. He was a different person and everybody called him “Happy James”.

Followed!

                    It was dangerous but I knew I had to do it. I had to escape before they found me. I was really stressed and  terrified  that I even understand how I had climbed  on the tree.                                                       

                    It  was a rainy afternoon when I decided to go for a walk to the sea. Suddenly, while I was walking, a black car started following me. In the beginning I did not suspect  anything but everytime I stopped the car stopped too. I was really nervous so I started  walking near the car. In the car there were two men- probably young - so I turned but this time I started running. The car was following me.                                                                                    

                  When I finally arrived at my house I thought for a while and then I started preparing my suitcases before they found me. Unfortunately I had left the door open! I did not know what to do. I had no other choice. I opened the window. It was night, everything was dark, the wind was blowing and the rain was getting heavier and heavier. I jumped on the tree but unluckily I lost my ballance and I fell on the ground.                                              

                   I woke up on a bed in the hospital and near me where my parents who were worried about me. Suddenly the two men who were following me got inside. I started screaming but when I saw their faces I started laughing! They were  my twin cousins who had come to visit us. When I explained to them, they started laughing too. It was a scary experience but with a wonderful happy end!

Frozen!

 It has been snowing all week, so my family decided to drive out into the country to find a beautiful spot to go for a walk and enjoy the spectacular winter landscape. Having spotted a beautiful stream, we got out of the car and put on our backpacks. I also picked up my walking pole. I never went walking without it.

The landscape was breathtaking that day, with patches of ice on the ground reflecting the sun like a mirror. As we got to the stream, I was amazed to see that it was frozen in places. Curious, I used my pole to see how thick the ice was. But just as I was doing so, the stick fell out of my hands into the ice cold water. I went closer to the edge of the stream and bend over to see if I could reach it. As quick as a flash, I slipped on the icy rocks, straight into the freezing stream.

‘’Help’’ I shrieked, but there was nothing really that my parents could do. I gasped as the cold water penetrated my clothes. I would freeze to death if I didn’t get out fast. With the shock, I managed to pull myself up out of the water, against the current.

I was standing, shivering in my wet clothes, when suddenly I felt a strange movement just next to my heart. ‘’That’s it! I’m going to have a heart attack!’’ I groaned. But then I realized that it wasn’t my heart, it was my mobile phone which was vibrating wildly after getting soaking wet.‘’That was the most frightening day of my life’’ I signed as we all headed back to the car.

 THE GHOST

   On a stormy night John was coming home from work later than usual. The wind was blowing and the rain pouring down. A thick fog made it difficult to see. He was coming home on foot because his car had broken down the previous day.

    Suddenly,a mysterious white shape caught his eye, moving from the one side to the other side of the street and coming towards him. He wondered who would be out on such a cold, dark night dressed in white.

   All of a sudden, the lights in the street went out  and John couldn' t see a thing. He tried to behave bravely as he was approaching the strange figure. As the  figure got closer and closer, his hair stood on end. A voice inside his head kept saying "It is a ghost!" 

   All at once he was attacked by the white figure . He started to fight, bu... it was only a big white plastic bag carried away by the strong wind !!!!

An unpredictable ending

'It was a warm and sunny Sunday of late April. The park in the centre of Oxford was very beautiful, full in flowers. Peter O' Connell was sitting on a bench trying to read his book. But the weather was so lovely, the birds were singing; there were children playing all over and making funny voices, that it was hard for him to concentrate.
 Suddenly a girl caught his eye. She was not an ordinary girl. She was wearing black jeans, a black sweater and red trainers.Her hair was in a pony tail, so long that almost covered her thin waist. She was wearing sunglasses, but Peter could see from her face that she was in a panic, looking around as a crazy person. And then, she started crying. But what could have happened to her?
-''Excuse me miss'', asked Peter as he ran towards her.' 'May I help you ?You seem very anxious''.
-''Oh, thank you'', she answered in a low voice.
''I've lost my little brother Ben; I can't find him anywhere...
 So that was the problem of the pretty girl. They started looking everywhere. They asked passengers by, they looked into the nearest shops, but nothing. It was almost 8 o'clock in the evening and it was starting to get dark. Suddenly, they saw little Ben running towards them. A little puppy was following him.
-''What happened to you?, asked Anna, that was the girl's name. ''I was so worried my love!''.She hug him so tight that the little boy couldn't breathe.
-''I'm sorry, Anna, I followed this puppy and soon I realized that I was lost. The dog led me back here''.
-''Oh, cute'', said Peter relieved that the boy was found. ''Let's all go for hot dogs, shall we?'', he suggested. You see, the adventure was over, but he didn't want to leave Anna...

Some weeks ago, something really funny happened to me. It was a Sunday night. I had walked the dog and when I came home I unwinded. Add to this the fact that I wasn’t feeling quite up to par. I was watching TV with my mother and out of the blue we heard a strange noise, coming from the kitchen. We immediately went there. A mouse had managed to invade into house – which wasn’t doing something, it was a quivering mouse, which, first, squatted in it’s small behind, and then it was squinting at nothing in particular.  Upon seeing the mouse, my mum screamed at the top of her lungs. I told her to calm down and, after a lot of try, we managed to catch the mouse. Then, we let it free. That incident quite cheered me up.

Once upon a time there was a young woman. One day the woman whose name was Elpida went to the waterfalls. Suddenly started getting thirsty and she was going to drink water from a small waterfall but she fell!                                                 

The woman started to shout. Fortunately, somebody appeared near the waterfall and heard the woman. He was called the police and the first aid and she was saved.                      

The woman fell in love with the boy who saved her life and they got married!

A mysterious experience

 The previous month something strange happened. It was 23 o’ clock and my friends and I were returning home. Then we heard a girl screaming. It was so scary like a horror film. We ran but the voice was louder and louder… it was hair-raising!  Then, when we arrived home, we entered the elevator and a scary face was shown on the mirror. But the worst of all was that we had to go ALONE to the house. We opened the door and very fast we turned the lights on. A few minutes later everything was forgotten. That was the scariest day of my life!
